The Arising
A system of planets under the control of a powerful sociopath, Keihlor. All who live under his rule serve and die at his leisure. Keihlor, a brilliant scientist, has created a societal hierarchy based on one’s “power level”. Citizens born at a four or five power level are “given” the privilege to compete for the coveted prize. A combat of death, the sole survivor to serve as the enforcer of Keihlor’s rule. Our story begins with a lowly Level One citizen.
